[Plugin: Crocodoc] Shortcode not executing each time, previews don't always work

  • Hi, I’m having an issue with this plugin. On my site, when the user first views the page with the shortcode, the file preview loads correctly. However, if the user clicks away and then clicks back to the page, the cached version of the page is served (i.e. the shortcode doesn’t get invoked anew). In this cached version, the preview doesn’t load correctly, I suspect because it’s not getting a new session token and simply using the old one. If the user manually refreshes the page, then the file preview loads correctly.

How can I fix this issue so that the shortcode is invoked each time the user views the page and so they get a unique session token each time? I’m not using any caching plugins, this is client-side caching in the user’s browser.

    gk_jam,
do you know if this only happens on specific browser/s?

I saw something similar happen with firefox, but was not able to find a cause/solution. Although I didn’t spend too much time on it.
