I was told to post this in the forum. When I first had the plugin activated, it seemed to work great. Everything was faster than before and I was very pleased. Than overnight, when my malware scan ran through go daddy, the entire site crashed. Go daddy security as well as myself researched the cause and both were able to determine that this plugin caused the site to crash. I currently have the plugin off as I need my site up and running.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @mjdarmanin1980

Have you by any change heard back from GoDaddy?

Marc, so sorry I did not get back to you. We have had a lot going on. I did check and godaddy stated there is not one available, which I thought odd.

Ah that’s unfortunate, as it might have allowed to find what caused the issue. I’ll mark this as resolved then, as we can’t really do anything more about it. But feel free to open an other support request if it were to happen again, or reply here if anything new comes up from GoDaddy.

    Best,
    Marc.

I appreciate it. Its a shame cause I loved the plugin but from what I have ready, Godaddy tends to have issues with caching plugins.

I was able to get this, so i unresolved the ticket just in case you could not see the post.

2019-08-07T22:51:36+00:00 CRITICAL Cannot redeclare wpo_cache_maybe_ignore_query_variables() (previously declared in /home/content/a2pewpnaspod04_data03/10/41250910/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-optimize/cache/file-based-page-cache-functions.php:711) in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-optimize/cache/file-based-page-cache-functions.php on line 711

It repeated about every 5 minutes or so when the site went down.

    Thanks, that’s helpful.

We had a similar issue with someone cloning their site to a staging site on the same server, and a path to the cache functions hard coded in the file advanced-cache.php.

We’ve made some changes to avoid the fatal error, which should be in the current WP-Optimize 3.0.11.

Did you by any chance make some tests on a staging site then applied them?

In any case this error shouldn’t happen anymore.

I had used the staging site but I can not recall what I had done at that time. I will look into it with the updated version soon. At your recommendation as well as godaddy, I am currently working on eliminating plugins that I no longer use.

I’ll mark this as resolved as we’ve identified the issue, which has been fixed in v3.0.11.

    Best,

    Marc.

My readers can not comment or sign in is this a plug in issue?
