 * Wow, it all seemed to work, then I think your plugin crashed my server. I have
   to wait for my host to respond, as I can’t do anything.
 * Maybe you can reproduce it: I installed a plugin in the backend while testing
   the chat in the front (was in a sidebar widget). When I sent the chat message,
   the chat responded that the server did not respond due to maintenance mode.
 * It went into a sort of loop reporting that message. I went to the backend to
   see how far the installation was. It was done. When I clicked the next link,
   my whole page was down, only reporting server error 500 at the moment.. :O
 * I went in with ftp and deleted your plugin and the one I had installed when it
   happened. Still server error. Waiting for the host now..
 * I accidentally posted this message as a 5 star review first.. can’t delete it
   though.

 * Hi,
 * it is hard to determine from the description what happened. I would need to view
   what errors were generated when you first send a message and when that error
   message was reported in a loop. This might be a problem with my plugin or something
   else – independently. You can see those errors in AJAX requests that the chat
   is making every few seconds. See it in Firebug or similar tool.

 * There were a few lines of dots written into my .htaccess file, which caused the
   server error.
 * As I just wrote a chat message and didn’t touch anything else… I don’t know,
   but could your plugin have done that?
 * You can reproduce the error message by typing something in chat while the site
   is in maintenance mode. That could maybe start the loop again.
 * I wrote two things.
 * I deleted the plugin from ftp when the error occurred. Not sure if I am going
   to install again..
 * Okay I installed it again. So far, so good..

 * Okay, it fried my server again. This time I am sure it’s your plugin. It added
   blank spaces to my .htaccess file this time.
 * You can leave your email I’ll send you a screenshot of the error loop in chat.

 * My plugin does not touch .htaccess file. It does not modify any files. It just
   writes data in database.
 * In case of problems I would need a link to your installation to see what is going
   on.

 * Error loop in the chat is not enough. I would need a link to your website to
   see what is going on with Ajax requests.

 * Okay, I’ll try one more thing to see if it is really what I think it is. I will
   actually try to kill my server again. I can’t believe it 😛
 * I have contacted you with that link as well. I will write again.

 * So I tried to crash it and even screen captured it, but of course, this time,
   it didn’t crash. The only thing I did differently was, I created a channel this
   time. Now the plugin seems to “wait” when I have maintenance and just posts the
   message after the maintenance mode is off again.
 * Before, it used to give an error message that went into a loop

 * It just crashed my server again manipulating the htaccess file. I believe you
   that it’s not doing that directly, but it’s causing something that’s doing it.
 * I have made a screen capture that I can send you.

 * OK, I’m going to investigate this.
