  • I wanted to add the feature image support for all my custom post types, and I added the support for it in the CPT-onomies settings page. I’m using a custom made theme.

    But the “Add feature image” boxes don’t appear in the edit post. When I change the theme to twentyeleven, they are thereā€¦

    is it just me? Am I missing something out here? I don’t have to register the post-thumbnail support in functions.php for my CPTonomies, do I?

    One wierd thing more. When i set up my CPTonomie, add all the supports, then all others appear, but the thumbnail doesn’t.

    ?

    I did the exact same thing a few weeks ago!

    The answer? You have to add theme support for post thumbnails:

    add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails' );
