[Resolved] [Plugin: CPT-onomies: Using Custom Post Types as Taxonomies] Can't Get the Edit Page to Appear

  • Fantastic idea for a plugin and I have a great site to use it on, but… when I’m on the Settings > CPT-onomies page click edit on the custom post type, it basically reloads the same page. So I can’t ever get to the place to relate CPTs to each other.

    Any ideas?

    BTW, I’m using WPMU’s CustomPress to manage my CPTs and Custom Fields.

    BTW #2, I’m also in Alabama (Birmingham) and was at the last WC B’ham (I did a talk on WP Backup options).

    Thanks!

    Hi! Yes, someone pointed out this bug just earlier today and I’ve already got the fix… just waiting for someone to test out another little bug fix before I push out the update.

    If you’re anxious to get things going, just replace line 91 in admin-settings.php with the following code:

    $edit = ( !$new && isset( $_REQUEST[ 'edit' ] ) && ( ( isset( $cpt_onomies_manager->user_settings[ 'custom_post_types' ] ) && array_key_exists( strtolower( $_REQUEST[ 'edit' ] ), $cpt_onomies_manager->user_settings[ 'custom_post_types' ] ) ) || ( isset( $cpt_onomies_manager->user_settings[ 'other_custom_post_types' ] ) && array_key_exists( strtolower( $_REQUEST[ 'edit' ] ), $cpt_onomies_manager->user_settings[ 'other_custom_post_types' ] ) ) || ( post_type_exists( strtolower( $_REQUEST[ 'edit' ] ) ) ) ) ) ? strtolower( $_REQUEST[ 'edit' ] ) : false;

    And “Hi!” fellow Alabamian. =) I live in Tuscaloosa. I, too, was at the last WC B’ham but I don’t believe I attended your WP Backup session. And now that I’ve glanced at the schedule I know why. =) I couldn’t stick around too long Sunday and was only at Samford for the first 2 sessions. I’m looking forward to next year!!

    Let me know if you come across any other problems. Thanks!!

    I have pushed out version 1.1.1 with the fix in place. If it still isn’t working for you, please let me know! Thanks!

    Hey Rachel. Thanks for the quick fix! I’m getting the edit page now.

    (EDIT) Found the fix for my other issue in your FAQ. Thanks!
