[Resolved] [Plugin: Countries] "No such file or directory" error

  • Hi there!

    I just uploaded this and when I click on the tab for the settings I get this message:

    Warning: include_once(/home/content/65/3511365/html/cineclat/wp-content/plugins/country/includes/xml-parser.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/65/3511365/html/cineclat/wp-content/plugins/countries/admin-pages/display-country-admin.php on line 4

    Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home/content/65/3511365/html/cineclat/wp-content/plugins/country/includes/xml-parser.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’) in /home/content/65/3511365/html/cineclat/wp-content/plugins/countries/admin-pages/display-country-admin.php on line 4

    Fatal error: Class ‘xmlParser’ not found in /home/content/65/3511365/html/cineclat/wp-content/plugins/countries/admin-pages/display-country-admin.php on line 5

    It looks like the xmlParser is causing problems. Any thoughts?

  • Update:

    When I use the plugin editor it says the xmlParser file is “inactive”. I’m not sure what this means or how to fix it. 🙁

    Suggestions?

    The problem is that the xml-parser is called from a wrong directory.

    To solve the problem, go to the plugin directory under plugins->countries

    Then open the file country.php

    Change the directory name ‘country’ to countries in the line number 151.

    Also change it in the line number 331.

    Then go into the directory ‘admin-pages’, and open the file ‘display-country-admin.php’

    Change ‘country’ to ‘countries’, on line number 4.

    Then go to ‘includes’ directory and do the same thing into the file ‘xml-parser.php’ on line number 9.

    Hope this helps.
