# Plugin could not be activated…fatal error

 * When attempting to install:
    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered
   a fatal error.
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE
   or ‘$’ in[removed url]/wp-content/plugins/comment-attachment/comment-attachment.
   php on line 1066
 * I commented out that section, then tried to activate. This produced:
    You must
   upgrade to Php 5.2 My version is5.2.17
 * Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

 * Yes upgrade to PHP 5.3, it requires it’s fucntions.

    Is there a version that worked with php 5.2?
