  • “googleapis” is a means to access library of software hosted by Google. Some of it is Google’s own software, like the scripts needed for G+ to work, but there is a lot of other stuff. Loading from Google should increase the chances that the scripts are already cached on a client machine which should decrease page load time.

If it isn’t working, I’m sure the developers would like to know.

Check you have jQuery version 1.4.4 as this happened to a clients site – once we upgraded jQuery everything worked

I’ve got the same issue. Works fine on one site, gives a blank page while loading “googleapis” on 2 others. I have no idea how to check my version of jQuery or where to change it. Any help would be appreciated!
