[Plugin: Contextual Related Posts] Thumbnails not displaying

    I’ve installed Contextual Related Posts v1.6 and adjusted all my settings to display thumbnails but they are not displaying.

    I want the plugin to extract the first image for each post for the thumbnails (I am using a similar function with another plugin “The Attached Image” successfully). I’ve cleared the “Post thumbnail meta field” textbox in plugin settings and even enabled thumbnails with the new WordPress 2.9 thumbnail feature in my functions.php.

    The thumbnails appear as broken images with the path “[post URL]/Array.” Any ideas what’s wrong?

    Update: it seems like once I edit each post and set the first image as the thumbnail using WordPress 2.9’s new thumbnail feature on the page that it displays properly.

    The plugin still isn’t recognizing when no image is available and displaying the alternate image I’ve set in my Contextual Related Posts settings.

    Earlier when no thumbnail images were available for a post, a broken image would display even though I specified a default image URL. I figured out that if I put random text in the “Post thumbnail meta field” (even though I am not using thumbnail meta fields), my alternate image would display.

    I’m still not sure what you meant by this.

    When you mean no thumbnail images were available, do you mean the post thumbnail feature of WP?
    Also, is broken image mean an incorrect 404 error?
