I have a question. I am using contact form 7 to create forms. Now, my goal is that when somebody fills out the contact us form that the data should also be saved in a database. Then I would like to export the data to excel and finally import to Microsoft Outlook. Is this possible with this plugin? If so do I have to redo the contact us form I created? Or is the installation of this plug-in all I need to do?Then the other question I have is whether this database works in conjunction with My SQL database or is this totally unrelated. I have MySQL database but my host told me I would need a plugin to work with WordPress. So I am not sure whether this is the plugin to use MySQL with WordPress or whether this is totally unrelated. I appreciate your help. Thank you very much.

    1. There is no export format targeting to MS Outlook. However, I did a quick Google Search, and found this page: CSV-to-VCcard. You may be able to export as CSV from the plugin, use the above page to convert CSV to VCard file, then import that VCard file into Outlook. I have not tried it myself.

    2. When you install the plugin into WordPress, it uses the same MySQL database that your WordPress installation is using. All this is transparent to you and you don’t have to worry about it.

Is there a way of creating a new database and use different tables for each form in my website? I would like to make wordpress database and forms’ information independent from each other.

    No, that is not supported.
