  • I think Contact Form 7 is a great plugin – I’ve been using it for years.

What do you do if there’s a form with a few text entries and drop downs and you want to get the user to be able to print their entries/choices before submitting? Or can you get the user to see their results on a page either after or before submitting?

I’ve seen people when they don’t have an answer on here go “bump”. So, bump!

You could have it copy them when it sends the form, so in to “to” field, put your email address along with: <[your-email]>.

And about the bumping, people do that, yes, but it’s an impatient way to try to get people to answer your question by bumping it to the top. In reality, it actually lessens your chances of getting answered because it takes your post off the “no replies” list, and people assume that someone answered your question. It’s also against the Forum Rules.

Thank you, Micah, I’ve thought of that but unfortunately some ability to print the finished form has been requested.

And thank you for telling me about bumping. I somehow knew it was wrong which is why I’d hesitated in the past. I won’t do it again – I’ve got so much out of WP, the least I can do is follow their forum rules 🙂
