[Plugin: Contact Form 7] How to vertically align label to field?

Hello,
I don’t know if I’m missing something obvious, but I haven’t figured out or found a solution to this problem. My labels (ie. First Name, Last Name, etc) are not middle aligned to the corresponding field/input box. It looks as though they are top aligned, but I do not see that in the code. The odd thing is that on my dropdown fields, the labels are middle aligned. Can anyone help or point out what I’m missing? Any direction is very much appreciated.
