With more than 6,000,000 downloads (indicating a super developer), several extensions, and lots of smart people using this plugin, I expect that an answer to my question is already out there, but I just can't find it.
In the simplest case of my question, after the user submits a form and gets a response message, I'd like to
- hide the (now empty) form if the response is successful
To extend that, I'd also like to show the user the data they just submitted and offer them the option of
- displaying the form with the data they just filled in (in case they want to correct something)
I can use the
on_sent_ok: "location = '/someotherpage/';"
and get info from the $cf7->posted_data array to present the information on what was submitted. But then I'm on someotherpage, not the page with the form, and I don't know how to show the form again with the values set to that data (unless I build the whole thing in PHP which seems to defeat the purpose). And if I go "back" from "someotherpage" I just get to the blank form.
Or is this just out of scope for something that's called a "contact form" and assumes its data doesn't need to be reused?
