[resolved] File upload -- no file in temp folder or email (5 posts)

    I'm trying to do a file upload, and I get the "message sent successfully" message after an upload, but the "wpcf7_uploads" folder is empty, and I don't get an email with the file attached, either.

    Ok. I don't know what I did, but the file does get placed in the temp folder. The problem is, however, if someone tries to upload a prohibited file, the wpcf7_uploads folder is cleaned out and becomes empty.

    Any fixes?

    That is normal behavior. The wpcf7_uploads folder should be empty just after attaching to mail.

    If you don't recieve mail even though you see green "Your message was sent successfully" message, check this FAQ.

    I see a response message “Your message was sent successfully” with green border, but I never receive a mail for that.

    Thank you, Takayuki. I don't see the green message, actually. The arrow just keeps spinning. I do see the file in the temporary folder but no email.

    What am I doing wrong?

    I see. I disabled the Contact Form 7 Database Extension plugin, and it seems to be working... I'd still like to keep this plugin, though, because it's very useful... how do I get both to work together?
