  • So apparently the form won’t send “To” an email containing the same domain. Which seems to suggest the opposite of what people are saying on the forums.

    I’m on bluehost, and most people say you have to use an email setup through the bluehost cpanel. Unfortunately my client doesn’t use bluehost for their email.

    Any ideas?

    Yup I’ve read over the FAQ and 100 different forum posts. Any thing in particular you’d like me to look at?

    Have you spoken to your hosts about this Perhaps their SMTP server is rejecting the mail? I’ve seen that happen quite a few times on some GoDaddy servers.

    Even if your client doesn’t use BlueHost for mail, you can still create an email account in your cPanel and setup your form to send from that email account.

    Whoever is really handling mail for your client will still be the one to receive all the email sent to it, and they will continue to handle the mail properly. The difference is that the script itself will send from BlueHost’s servers, but in all other areas, including replies to messages sent from that script, it will come through whomever handles your client’s mail.

    Yeah I figured out the issue. I did create the email addresses based on an earlier post I saw from you. I contacted BH and they just switched it so it wouldn’t check local mail at all.
