It was a mail server issue and now resolved. Thanks

What was the issue because I am having the same problem but do not see the issue.
I can send e-mails to and from the email address I am having the Plugin send to. So it can’t be a problem there, can it?
The spam setting is at its lowest possible and nothing is loading into spam folders.
    Thoughts?

I have the same problem — not getting email. I have been using Contact Form 7 for over a year without any problems and then yesterday when I changed the form, I am not getting any emails. The green box comes up that says it sent, I checked all the spam/quarantine folders and it is not in there! HELP!

I’m having the same problem. Contact Form 7 worked earlier this week, but won’t work today. HELP!

It has to do with the “form action” file that’s being called up. I just spent 2 hours on the phone with GoDaddy, and they said their servers don’t like the one that CF7 uses—he didn’t know CF& specifically, but in viewing the source, said I shouldn’t use that.

I finally found where CF7 calls in the form action—it’s in the “classes.php” file. You apparently need to use “webformmailer.php” in there instead.

It’s worked a couple times, but there is still something wonky going on on GoDaddy’s end. When they put the actual webformmailer.php file in my root directory—it stops working! When it’s NOT actually there, it works!

So, I don’t know if this is actually a PROPER solution…

Can anyone at Contact Form 7 give us a good fix for this problem we all seem to be having?? I really want to keep using the plug in, but it just isn’t working….. Please help!

Hey Shopman – check out the thread over here:

not sure why this thread is marked as resolved. clearly still not working!

Reset the Resolution status to unresolved.

Hi all, I just wanted to add that I’m having the exact same problem on my client’s site which is also on GoDaddy. I’m just starting to research the problem so I’ll let you know if I learn anything new.

It is a lost cause. Personally, I suggest setting up another email account to receive emails from your form. Like a yahoo or gmail account. This is what I did…it worked and it made my life so much easier. I also decided to change the form I was using…I had the same problem with the new form….but the new email should fix it.

    Shopman,

Thanks. It doesn’t seem to matter what email the form is being sent to. I hope I don’t have to setup a new forms plugin, but it looks like that is what’s going to happen.

Shopman2 and jmldesign – you need to check out this thread:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-7-not-working-3/page/3?replies=35

You’ll find in that thread that it doesn’t matter what email address you have the form sending to. You’ll also see that other Contact Form plugins don’t work either.

This is a problem with the way that GoDaddy processes the forms – not a problem with the form plugin itself.

    Avery,

Thanks for the info. So what are people doing? Just leaving GoDaddy?
