I’m sorry, I must be missing something obvious…the instructions on how to install the plugin are about how to install the Contact Form 7 plugin itself, not this Dynamic Text Extension addition to it. Where do I put wpcf7_dynamic_text.php, which is in this downloadable file? I tried putting it in its own directory in the plugins folder, but it doesn’t appear in the list of inactive plugins. I tried putting it in the contact-form-7 plugin folder, and in the modules sub directory within that, but I still don’t get a “Dynamic Text” option under my list of tags.

    What am I missing?

I’ve also tried clearing my cache, quitting and reopening my browser, and using a different browser. The plugin still isn’t appearing in my list of plugins.

I finally figured out the issue. When I uploaded the plugin manually to my plugins folder, my FTP client set the permissions to low. I had to reset the directory to 755 and each of the files within to 644. Now I can see it in the plugins directory, and activate it.
