>Does anyone have it working on 3.4.?
Yes, it’s fine on mine.
I have just fixed mine, but had to install and configue the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin to get it working

I can confirm it’s still working on both of mine. No changes necessary.
Doesn’t work on any of my sites, not even with WP-Mail-SMTP.
Any help appreciated.
That trick worked for me! Thanks jules_nz!
@michaelwilke, check this thread to see if something in there helps: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/contact-form-7-jetpack
Not working for me. I get the default contact form 7 error when submitting and no email is sent.
Tried deleting and reinstalling contact form 7
Tried reinstalling the update to 3.4
Tried disabling Contact Form to DB Extension and all other extension
(the form data does make it into the DB with Contact Form to DB Extension)
Tried disabling all other extensions. (my site has only 1 other WP No Category Base – WPML compatible)
Unsure if other emails are being sent or not
Any things to try?
I just installed the plugin WP-Mail-SMTP, never even looked at the settings, just installed and activated, and it fixed my contactForm7.
***I’d like to not have another plugin to manage. This seems like a temporary fix.***
Why does the update to 3.4 break contactForm7. How can I fix without the plugin?
Any ideas out there?
Thanks!
I’ve a problem with the checkbox, the squares and labels aren’t aligned.
How can i fix this ?
Thanks in advance.
Ika 😉
Sorry it’s a problem with a template 🙁
Try to just add WP-Mail-SMTP if it suddenly stops working.
Mine was working and then WP 3.4 and got the red error message on send message. I had to add WP-Mail-SMTP (latest version Version 0.9.1 ) plugin and set SMTP to defaults of localhost and then form worked again.

I am having a similar problem regarding my email address that’s connected to my blog: WordPress does not recognize my email address and I am not able to receive emails from that address. Please advise as to how I should handle this situation. Is there a certain plugin that I need? I tried re-installing version 3.4 but that didn’t do anything. I’ve been without use of this email now for well over a week.
By the way, I tried deactivating my current Contact Form plugin and installing the one suggested above: WP-Mail-SMTP. But I have no idea how to continue with the process, as I didn’t create my blog in the first place and have lost touch with the person who did. Thank you for any advice/suggestions you may have.
@margo44 I’m not sure if you have the same problem as the original Poster of this thread but you don’t have to deactivate Contact Form 7, you have to add and activate WP-Mail-SMTP and leave the setting as their default.
Have you tried that?
The same problem on some of my sites. Only one customer’s site is OK.
Same here, tried it but still red notification…
Still not working for me, and I don’t have JetPack installed either :/

wp_martin – Thank you for the response. Actually, the form I have in my blog is called Fast Secure Contact Form, the creator of it being Mike Challis, and I’m assuming that’s not the same form as Contact Form 7? In any case, I tried what you suggested but I’m still not able to get my email functioning again. Perhaps the reason being because I don’t have Contact Form 7 installed?
