[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Dynamically specify mto value

I’d like to specify the ‘To’ value based on the value of a select in the form, but this field doesn’t seem to accept tokens. If a put in a token e.g. ‘[mailto]’ I get a warning message ‘This field has syntax errors’.

The token I am using is valid (works in the message body for example).

Is there a plugin for a hack that would allow me to do this?
