# Plugin contact

    When I create a form in the plugin ‘Contact’ and add a date field,
   no date is given in the email I receive. Help is much appreciated!

 * It looks you are using the Contact Form 7 plugin on your website. Probably the
   issue could be that the date field is not referenced in your email template which
   is triggered when someone fills the form and hit submit button. You can add or
   remove fields data inside your email template as per your requirements.
 * Please read this [article](https://contactform7.com/setting-up-mail/) which will
   be helpful in your situation. Probably you have to check **Message Body** section
   and verify if date field is referenced or not.
