• Hi,

The WC Marketplace plugin conflicts with the Give WP plugin – or/and vice versa. Actually, upgrading Give WP to its latest version breaks the site if WC Marketplace is activated.

Also, since WC Marketplace is active, users paying on the donation page ( generated by Give WP ) often see the error message You passed an empty string for 'billing_details[address][country]'. We assume empty values ar an attempt to unset a parameter; however 'billing_details[address][country]' cannot be unset. You should remove 'billing_details[address][country]' from your request or supply a non-empty value – while the Give WP form doesn’t have any address related field.

Thanks for investigating these issues further.

    Hi,

Thanks for the quick follow-up – I’m afraid there’s not much I can add, besides the problem description in the topic starter.

I have added two screenshots to Imgur:

    1. https://imgur.com/olWEbfe
Displays the error we get when both the latest Give WP and WC Marketplace plugins are active. The backend becomes totally unavailable because of some plugin conflict.

    2. https://imgur.com/KoKTgDL
Displays the error message our customers started to see on the donation page created with Give WP – since WC Marketplace is active.

    I hope this helps,
    Thanks

Hi @lunule, thanks for sharing the scrrenshot.

As you are getting this error (https://imgur.com/olWEbfe), so in order to understand what is causing this issue, please enable the debug log.

This link will help you out on how to enable the debug mode: https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG

Now, check the page again, there you should get an error message. Share that message with us, so we can help you out.

    Please do keep us posted.

Thanks for your answer – based on what info we got from the Give WP support, it seems that Give Wp and WC Marketplace just can’t be used together.

    I’m closing this ticket.
