 * Are there any up to date plugins for checking on possible plugin conflicts. I’ve
   found one, but it hasn’t been updated for a few months, the the writer’s website
   is now defunct.

 * With 42,072 plugins in the free directory alone, I imagine maintaining such a
   thing would be a monumental task.
 * It’s probably best to just get the plugins you want, and if there’s a conflict,
   you’ll find out quickly.
 * If the conflict takes down the site, very rare by the way, fixing it is a quick
   process. Just follow this guide to manually reset your plugins (no Dashboard
   access required).

 * If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the
   cause.

 * An alternative is to keep track of each plugin and when you installed it and
   activated it. When a problem occurs deactivate the latest plugin and see if that
   fixes the problem. It does call for a degree of organization I’m rather lacking
   in.

 * Yep, that’s how I sort out most conflicts I encounter. 🙂
