Realized that Updraft backups weren’t happening properly for more than a week now. The plugins and theme files were getting backed up but the database was not.

This is the error I am getting when trying to do the backup –

PHP event: code E_WARNING: Redis::pconnect(): connect() failed: Connection refused (line 345, wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Cache_Redis.php)

There were 266 jobs that were pending.

I temporarily fixed this issue by disabling the w3total cache and doing the backup.

    Hi,

UpdraftPlus has no code that attempts to interface with W3TC in any way…. so, it sounds like the issue needs fixing on their side, since there’s nothing we have on our side that could be changed.

    Hello,
Try following the instructions for Redis on W3 Total Cache FAQ page.
