Plugin conflict with Elementor Pro 2.0 and avoce

I’m not sure how to include a link to demonstrate this problem, as it’s backend, but Elementor is a widely popular page builder plugin, and it’s recent number 2 pro version introduced theme areas building capabilites (such as header, footer, single, and archive)

When Strong testimonials is installed, the Theming functionality in Elementor is broken, it’s impossible to press some of it’s UI buttons, they are not responsive.

I’ll post this to the Elementor team as well, but I’m not sure what can be done

To clarify, if you deactivate Strong Testimonials, the Elementor UI works?

Yes, I had many more plugins activated, but I deactivated them all and activated one by one, and with only elementor and elementor pro with strong testimonials – the UI is broken. without ST, it works.

to clarify, when trying to create a single template with elemtntor, the crucial and non-functioning button is the ‘display conditions’

I bought Elementor Pro. I’m probably one of the few people who don’t find drag-and-drop builders intuitive. I need you to tell me how to reproduce the problem, hopefully with a link to a screenshot of the “display conditions” button.

Install this plugin:

The bug is in Elementor Pro. It seems custom post types like testimonials are not completely integrated into the theme builder yet. This quick fix simply removes the one occurrence of the testimonial post type that was causing an error on the Display Conditions feature.

Let me know if you encounter anything else.

Thanks a lot Chris! I couldn’t ever expect this level of support from a free plugin, definitely recommending it to everyone!

I’ll report soon back wether it works for me, but is there a chance to add this fix as a code snippet instead of a plugin? not a big deal though.

Thanks, It works good. but I think It creates another problems, i’ve got some weird crashes when trying to create regular templates

A PHP warning is not fatal, it’s not a crash.
