• Hi!
I’m writing(copying) this to both the Cimy and the Mailchimp plugin Support columns in hopes that the two authors will talk to each other and resolve the problem.

I have found the when the Mailchimp plugin is set so that the “Use Javascript Datepicker?:” is checked, it prevents the Cimy Header Image Rotator from operating. i.e. Cimy will no longer load images. Unchecking the box will allow Cimy to work again.

I hope you can work with each other to resolve the issue,

    Thanks!
    Ken

  • Did you ever get a response to this, or sort it out? I’m having a similar issue with Mailchimp and Core. I have had to disable Mailchimp so that my home screen slide show will work and not just show a black screen!

    I’ve not heard anything Kym.

In my instance, the Javascript Datepicker wasn’t important to my client so just turning it off was a “workable” solution. I mostly just wanted to let them know of the problem.

I’t’s likely some sort of javascript conflict. Make sure you have everything up to date.

Try adding the “Use Google Libraries” plugin. That might help you…

    Hey all,

Thanks for posting and letting us know about this. We’ll be sure to make note of the potential conflict between the plugins, in case there are any users that post in this forum about it in the future. We appreciate the workaround as well. I’ll make sure this info gets pass along on my end to the appropriate resources. For the time being, as you mentioned, the best bet is to disable the JS datepicker from the MailChimp plugin’s settings. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
