[Resolved] [Plugin: Conditional CAPTCHA for WordPress] Does a user have multiple attempts to complete CAPTCHA?

  • Hello,

    If you could answer this.

Does a user have a few attempts to enter the correct CAPTCHA, or if a CAPTCHA is set to be not completed correctly on the first fail?

And if the latter is true, could there be implemented such option to give a user few tries before giving it a fail.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

The user can try as many times as they like by clicking the back button in their browser (they are given a message saying they can do this). The only restriction is a time limit – they have 10 minutes to complete it correctly after the comment is submitted.

    I see, thank you!

I have set for the plugin to delete the comment permanently if the CAPTCHA does not pass, and I’d feel kinda bad if a false positive comment were to be deleted because of an incorrect CAPTCHA on a first try.

Thank you for your wonderful work!
