Well, first, are you using the latest update of the plugin, since this was problem I knew about and fixed on an earlier version.

oh sure, sorry forgot to say, just installed 2.47 from this website.

ok..I’m going to take a look to see why this is happening…it looks like the path url might be getting messed up..but I’ll confirm…

one question..you’re on a multisite install of WP…right?

yes we are. nic.phys.ethz.ch and news.phys (and some others).

ok..that’s the issue..I’m going to have to recode the scripts page to recognize the multisite directory, which on some installs is different….like I run this plugin on a multi site with no problem, but it looks like your installation is different, so I’ll need to make an adjustment in the code…thanks for bringing this up. I’ll post here when I have the change..which is hopefully in a few hours.

One other question…does your install put the plugins in an an mu-plugin folder or just a regular plugin folder…asking because I can see the plugin should work fine on multi sites when put in the plugin folder

thanks Allen, all plugins are in /usr/share/wordpress/wp-content/plugins and selectively enabled in each instance.

ok..well, then this is pretty strange since that structure is exactly how it is on my mulitsite and there has been no problems…I’ll need to look more into this since I’m using standard WP paths and it shouldn’t be adding the extra path parameters to the url (like it’s doing on your site).

My bet is your using symlinks and that’s causing the problem…shoot me an email at
    http://www.allenweiss.com/contact

and I’ll give you a file that should solve the problem.

This topics is still being worked on as the user and I have communicated via email. It seems the problem is unique to the users system.
