Plugin completely unusuable after update

    Updated plugin this morning. Upon attempting to return to my previous work-space, the page is completely white. I try to go to another admin page only to have that white. Return to my website, realize that too is white.

    Had to SFTP into my server to directly delete the plugin in order to have my entire HTML framework work.

    Attempt a fresh install of the plugin. Cannot activate:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/html-editor-syntax-highlighter/html-editor-syntax-highlighter.php on line 41

    Love this plugin, hate that I cannot get it working again :<

    Sorry about the bug.

    This is happening because you are running an older version of php (this specifically, if you care). This bug has been fixed in development and the patch will be released soon.
