# [Plugin: CommentLuv] Feed could not be found – Error

 * Using commentLuv brings this Error after Entering the Url.
 * A feed could not be found at [http://www.xxxxxx.com?feed=atom](http://www.xxxxxx.com?feed=atom).
   A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie 
   was unable to auto-discover it.. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL
   is a real feed.
 * How can i fix this?

 * it turns out that this user did not have external connections allowed on his 
   hosting and so the simplepie library could not complete the request.

 * the plugin has now been updated to allow showing of the exact data that simplepie
   saw so detecting an error like this will be easier to spot
