    Hi
    It is a handy plugin but impossible to make adjustments when one is not able to read code like CSS.
    That is a pity so the color stays grey

    Hi,

    thanks for your post.

    I understand your concerns, but the basics of CSS are not difficult, and additionally it is a very flexible language, better than any user interface that I could ever develop.
    I therefore suggest that you take a look at some basic CSS introductions, for example at http://www.htmldog.com/guides/cssbeginner/ and then have a look at the example in the TablePress FAQ at http://tablepress.org/faq/

    If you then have specific questions on how to change certain things, I'll gladly point you in the right direction. For that it would also be helpful if you could post a link to the page with your table and describe in detail what you want to change.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

    Thank you for your reply.
    I show you the site dierenzaak and you will understand what i mean.
    I allready managed one color by pasting the code you gave and change the color of the line. Although i prefered to light up the cell and not the whole ros.
    Also i want to change the background into light blue.
    Do i have to add a second code right under the first code?
    Another question is if it is possible to add pictures smaller sized than the traditional 150x150
    Thanks
    Guido

    Hi Guido,

    thanks for the link!

    Ok, so there's different thinks that you want to change here, right?

    First, you want the table's normal background color to match the background color of the page, if I understand correctly.
    For that, please uncheck the "Alternating Row Colors" checkbox on the "Edit" screen of the table. The rows will then have the same background as the page.
    You might then want to remove the borders on the table. For that, please take a look at the question "How do I remove the borders from a table?" in the FAQ at http://tablepress.org/faq/
    Now we can set the individual cell highlighting. For that, please uncheck the "Row Highlighting" checkbox, and remove all "Custom CSS" that you have now (except that for removing the borders), and add this:

    .tablepress-id-1 tr td:hover {
    	background-color: #FFF0A7;
    }

    To insert smaller pictures, you'll have to resize them after inserting them. For this, just modify the HTML code for the image in the table cell, and change the values of 150 of the width and height parameters as desired.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias
    Thanks alot
    i begin to understand ans see all possibilities of the plugin.
    As i notice the css should copy the content to all others tables.
    But still have one last question
    As on this page dierenzaak the cell color is now changing into a yellow color.
    Although the css had been set the same as the first table here on this page dierenzaak katten the color is not appearing
    On the other hand on the third page i can see another layout
    dierenzaak/paarden with a search box and and result tab

    Hi,

    that's because so far the CSS code only applies to the table with the ID 1, which you can see in the first line of the selector.
    If you want to have this apply to table 2 as well, just copy the code and change the ID to 2. If you want this for all TablePress tables, just remove the "-id-N" part entirely.

    You can read more about this concept at http://tablepress.org/documentation/ in the CSS section.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

    no, you did not. The "Custom CSS" still only contains the code for the table with the ID 1 (and now something more for the font in the tables).
    Note that there's no "copying to the other tables". There is just one common "Custom CSS" text field on the "Plugin Options" screen. It's not that every table has it's own field. They all share the same field.
    The -id-N is in the first line of the "Custom CSS that you entered, right after .tablepress and before tr td:hover {.

    Tobias

    .tablepress tr td:hover {
    background-color: #FFF0A7;
