    1. The code highlighting is implemented using EditArea, which is the editor used by the popular cPanel software which us used by many web hosts. I thought that people would feel right at home. If you don’t like the enhanced textarea then you can select the ‘toggle editor’ switch down the bottom. If you have an idea for another code editor that I should replace EditArea with, let me know. (I use Chrome 21 Beta and the edit snippet screen looks fine to me.)
    2. Due to MySQL restrictions, the title needs to have a preset length, which is set to 36 characters. All titles have the same length – if they are shorter blank spaces are added to pad it out, if longer it is truncated. In the next version of Code Snippets I’ll be introducing a limit to the snippet title input field so you can’t enter more then 36 characters and therefore will not be surprised by it being truncated as shown in your screencast. If you really need more characters I’d advise that you use the description field.

    I didn’t look to see what they’re using, but this plugin ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-code-editor/ ) looks good on Chrome ( http://screencast.com/t/jjZu91RCc ) and Safari ( http://screencast.com/t/aKg1R4Auuk ). Maybe do what they’re doing.

I don’t have a problem with title length limits as long as everything works with the upcoming import/export feature and that it tells/shows you it’ll be cutoff (like you said it would in the future :-).

    Thank you.
