They closed it due to a security issue. It will be back once I fixed the issue. Actually, I was just about to release 0.14.0, in which the issue has been resolved. A shame that I decided to wait till Monday to release…

I have now replied to WordPress that the security problem is fixed. Their policy is to make a complete review before reactivating. I’m hoping they make it quick…

If there is a developer out there who would lend a hand with reviewing the plugin for other security issues, I would appreciate it!

It will prolong the process of getting WebP Express activated if the WordPress team should find other security issues.

In the meantime, I recommend disabling the plugin but not uninstalling it. When the plugin has been approved, you can activate it again, and all your settings will be preserved.

Thank you so much for your work!
