# [Plugin: CKEditor For WordPress] Doesn't work for comments.

 * Seems to be a problem going back to 2010 — when enabled, the editor is completely
   missing for anyone trying to leave a comment.
    Deans FCKEditor does work…

    [@jassing](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jassing/) which version do
   you use ? Do you see any errors in Firebug or similar tool ? Can you check latest
   [DEV](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ckeditor-for-wordpress.zip) version?
   Do you have “Use CKEditor as comment editor” option checked in CKEditor’s plugin
   on “Basic settings” page ? Do you use [qTranslate plugin](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/qtranslate/)?

 * Michal: I used the latest version that was in the post above.
    firebug:no dev
   version:yes ckeditor as comments: yes qtranslate: no
 * I had the issue of no editor appearing for comments– this dev version fixed it.
