• I’m using CKEditor with Buddypress to edit group descriptions.

However, CKFinder isn’t showing when I click to insert and image, and all my HTML is being stripped out once it is entered.

I checked my CKFinder settings, but it doesn’t have a setting for unregistered users to use it. My users are registered, but I don’t know what their level is. Is there a way I could test it to determine if the user level is the issue?

@sirspacey thx for notice this. Do you see any errors in Firebug console (Firefox add-on) ? You can also check in Firebug’s NET tab if all request are correct. In WordPress (don’t know if option exists in Buddypress) in administration panel in “Settings” tab there is an option like “default role for new users”. There you can check what default role have your users.
Please write what version of Buddypress do you use ?
I will check this issue ASAP. Please be patient.

Thanks ok, I do have it set to use the default new user role.

    I’ll check Firebug…
