    Do you have an exact report? Otherwise this is just FUD and not tolerable.

    All I have so far is the screen warning. I am presuming it is a safe site, and this was merely a false positive, you’ve been around too long to be crapping people up, but after having all my sites hacked over the past year, I’ve gotten paranoid. That’s also why I decided to ask you before I ran around screaming and jumping up and down on tables. (Us old folks don’t get a lot of excitement in our lives.)

    Anyhoo, I’ve tried calling their support twice, once yesterday after I got the warning, but it was end of day and I think they were swamped, and then this morning, and again they were swamped.

    I’ll post back here when I get their feedback.

    Finally got through. Seems they were slammed because they were featured on HSN (Home Shopping Network) and expect to be that way for a couple more days. Timing is everything.

    The tech reported that the firewall was blocking because of the amount of code delivered by the page that had bad URL’s. We whitelisted it and accessed the page.

    It appear’s to have been a valid block based on the way code is being presented on the site, even though the code is safe, it still reads as bad URL’s. Not FED (whatever that is). What is FUD?

    I don’t know. He logged into my PC and was flipping through things so fast I had trouble keeping up. I did see it in some list of results from a page, and he made the statement as if it was nothing.

    So, as an old geezer in a world dominated by youth, I responded with FUD.

    If I can figure out more, or can find the list of results, I’ll repost here.

    I found the event log. Most of the data was internal codes, but here are the two URL’s which must have thrown out the errors …

    Url=”http://marcocimmino.net/favicon.ico”
    Url=”http://marcocimmino.net/”

    I don’t see anything wrong with them, unless the favicon may be corrupted.

    The software is Vipre from GFI software.

    I think I don’t even have a favicon.ico need to check.

    No I don’t have it.

    Must have a link somewhere pointing to one that doesn’t exist.

    I’,m not sure how favicons are called.

    Maybe not having one is a bad link. The browser may have been looking for one.

    In the root page there is nothing that points to favicon, I think you should change your software if it is so sensible.

    I think the favicon link is something Microsoft invented and is built into most all browsers. I’m not sure how it works, but I’m going to have to stick with these folks for another couple of years anyway, because my license has that much longer to run on it.

    Besides, it’s a pretty good software, and they’re usually quick to answer their phones. I think today, as they said, they were slammed with new users buying from HSN.

    Sorry for the bother.

    All I was trying to do was get to the documentation so I could learn how the plugin worked.

    Documentation is also included into the plug-in, please see README_OFFICIAL.txt file.

    Ah, I thought there was more on the site.

    My mistake.
