Plugin changes url to external images, making them not display in admin (1 post)

I use an admin plugin that download images from a webservice and displays the images using the external image url in the admin

    The image url is http://example.com

But the https: plugin changes that to https://example.com and this is the wrong url to the image, so I get the ? in the admin.

I guess that a regular expression to change all image url is performed by the https plugin.

How can I configure this (or change the code) so it only replaces the http to https, on my own domain, and not external images?
