# [plugin: cformsII] Unable to activate;doesnt show under plugin managemet

 * Maybe you can recommend another one, but I wanted to use cformsii to add to my
   blog, I installed it by saving it under wp-content\plugins.
 * My problem is that it doesn’t show under plugin managemet so I can not activate
   it. Any suggestions?

 * Use an FTP client or your web host’s file manager to browse the /plugins directory.
   I bet you’ve got it nested inside another folder.
 * Should be like this:
 * /wp-content/plugins/mycoolplugin/
 * I bet you have something like this instead:
 * /wp-content/plugins/mycoolplugin/mycoolplugin/

 * That was it, the folder created was cformsii and then the version number when
   it needed to be cformsii by itself. Thank you!

 * I am having the same problem and this fix does not work for me. I have /wp-content/
   plugins/cformii but it does not appear in the plugin manager. Any thoughts?

 * Try /wp-content/plugins/cform
 * And if in doubt, this tutorial by whooami helps in general with the correct folder
