@books:
These are errors with the pings themselves. The Ping Optimizer plugin does not impact or interact with the actual ping transaction.
Getting this:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 80 bytes) in /home/user1/public_html/domain/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1400
I tried deactivating and deleting the plugin. Reinstalled it , and the error is still there.
when I install DB Cache Reloaded Fix the path switches:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 76 bytes) in /home/user1/public_html/domain/wp-content/plugins/db-cache-reloaded-fix/db-module.php on line 1674
Running 2 other blogs on the same server/site and not having any issues with those (similar configs). Any Idea how I can get this back in shape? … it only started doing it for about 1 week.
Many thanks
I know is going to sound strange, but I will reply to my own question :).
It took me a while to think about this so it may save others some time.
the error is due to the table for the plugin being overloaded on the mysql database. So you need to go in phpMyAdmin (on your host’s cPanel or whatever other control interface they use) and in the database corresponding to your blog find this table “wp_cbnetpo_ping_optimizer”, then empty it. This resolved my problem and probably will do it for all. It’d help if the plugin would have a sort of entry overwrite feature … should the plugin be considered of some use …
