    Hello!
I have an Intranet WordPress site where we use Event Calendar WD Pro as well as multiple other plugins. We noticed recently a time issue on our site which we are trying to figure out. We also use Gravity Forms and first noticed that the time was 4 hours behind for any form submission – ex; form submitted at 12 noon would have a time stamp of 8am. Too look into the issue further I looked at the settings within WordPress for the time zone but also noticed this was set correctly but displaying incorrect time information – again showing the current local time as being 4 hours behind. This made me look further into the php.ini file, the server’s time zone and time setting, but each is set correctly. After updating every plugin and WordPress itself and still not having the issue resolve itself, I started deactivating plugins. When I deactivated the Event Calendar WD Pro plugin all the times in all locations showed the correct time. As soon as the plugin in re-activated, the time displays incorrectly. I am not sure how to correct this so I am turning to you now. The version of Event Calendar WD Pro that I am using is Version 5.0.95. Thanks for any help you can offer.

  • Hello, @gileadit!

Thank you for posting about this!

Please set the timezone of your Event Calendar WD to your local time. Go to Calendars > Settings page and set it using TimeZone option.

Let us know if this helps.
    Cheers!

That has already been set to America/New_York so no changes are needed but the problem still persists.

Here are some screen shots of the Event Calendar settings page and the WordPress Settings page which shows the local time and timezone being set – also with my pc time to show what the WordPress local time should be displaying.

Event Calendar WD Settings Page - Top
Event Calendar WD Settings Page - Bottom
WP Time Setting when plugin activated - Local Time is incorrect
WP Time Setting when plugin deactivated - Local Time is correct
