So I have installend this plugin.

/attachment-sitemap.xml is still present. Is that how it should be?

Then, when I click on an attachment in /attachment-sitemap.xml I see a very strange looking page with all black and white symbols and some text.

When I scroll all the way down I see… the attachment page itself (still there)

What is going on here? I feel like removing this plugin very quick!

(Can it have anything to do with me using a cache plugin – wp rocket)?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, I have the same problem. There’s a problem with attachments after activating this plugin. I’ve got a massage about this issue for all websites with this plugin in Google Search Console. Let us know if there will be a quick fix for this.

Go to your Plugins section and deactivate your cache plugin(s). After the page refreshes try one of the attachment pages, it should be good, go ahead and go back to Plugins section and activate your caching plugin – the attachment pages should still work good… It is a cache problem i’ve seen on a lot of sites, deactivated and activating cache plugins seems to work flushing the system.

Seeing as the page in the original post is working correctly it looks like the issue is resolved. I will, therefore, mark it as such.
