# Plugin causes error in wordpress installation

 * I am having a problem installing the woocommerce plugin, when activating the 
   plugin my wordpress installation stops working, I have to deactivate the plugin
   by MyAdmin to get it working again.
   I installed directly from the wordpress plugin
   panel in version 6.2.2

   woocommers me indicaron en hostgator que mi tema no es compatible.. me pueden
   ayudar con eso por favor

 * I understand that your WordPress installation stops working when activating WooCommerce,
   is this correct?
 * As a first step, can you please check that all the [WooCommerce Server Recommendations](https://woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/)
   and [WordPress requirements](https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/) are met.
 * If that looks good, please can you provide more clarity on what you are experiencing
   when activating WooCommerce? Does the site crash? Are there any error message
   being displayed on your end? What exactly do you see?
 * A screenshot of what you are seeing on your end may be helpful. If you do not
   already have a screenshot tool installed, [Snipboard.io](https://snipboard.io/)
   can be used for easily sharing screenshots.
