• Hello all,

I have been using category posts to display a menu of items in the “news & events” category.

My posts have navigational links at the top of the post that link to previous post and next post (of posts in the news & events category).

I decided to create a new category called “collections” and give it its own category posts menu. Some of the items that I filed under collections were previously filed under “news & events”. But they are now only filed under collections.

    Here’s what’s happening:
In the new “collections” menu, when viewing a post, the “next” and “previous” navigational links are for posts within that category. Which is what I want.

But when viewing a post in the first menu (news & events), which previously included items now filed under collections, the navigational links at the top (above the post title) still include those items that are no longer filed under news and events.

I’ve tried deleting that first menu and creating a new one, but those items are still showing up as if they were still filed under news & events.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Update: it seems the top of post navigational links are disregarding categories in both menus, i.e. they simply scroll through all blog posts regardless of category.

Maybe that’s just the way it is with this widget. Too bad, as it would be nice to have individual menus only show previous and next posts from that category.
