[Plugin: Category Icons Lite] Icons show up randomly

    I uploaded all my icons from the Media upload screen, then went into each one and assigned them to categories, one by one. But it’s not showing what it’s supposed to.

    I have some posts that are assigned to multiple categories and I thought it was affecting category icon display, but some of the icons don’t show up at all! Most categories show just one icon. It seems to be pretty random.

    Yes, it is the Lite version : it does not display several icons, but only one icon of one of the categories. May be you should try with the 1.2 version…

    I only want to show one icon, not multiple.

    In this case, you must use category icons (not the lite version) and use the priority feature. I’m trying to implement that feature in the lite version, but it’s far from being done… 🙁

    Hi Submarine,
    I’ve installed Category Icons, the full version, and ran into a similar issue as with Lite.

    When I’m viewing a category archive, some categories show wrong icons next to the category title. I don’t understand why a category would need a priority, since I only assigned just 1 icon for each one (and maybe I don’t understand the priority feature.)

    Hi,

    if you look in the Category Icons Options, you’ll find a checkbox :
    Display only the icon of the selected category in the category page

    Check it, and you’ll see only the icon of that category archive. 🙂
