• Hi there,

I’ve used CataBlog across multiple sites and found it’s a great plugin. However, I’ve hit a snag with the latest site under development.

When I insert shortcode for a gallery, can I specify which template should be used for single item views for that gallery? I would like to have two galleries that each use a different template for single item views.

ie – Gallery A is for widgets and all widgets use template #1 for single item veiws. Gallery B is for doorbells and all doorbells use template #2 for single item views.

I’m hoping there may be a way as I don’t fully understand the distinction between “views” and “templates”. Also not sure how the “Public” setting plays into this.

Thanks for any clarity on this issue. I can include a link if need be – site is not up live yet but will be soon.

Currently I’m using this shortcode to call the gallery:

    [catablog category="rectangle" template="gallery-mm"]

In the shortcode above, template=”gallery-mm” is a custom template I modified for the gallery view.

Again, am wondering if I can specify use of a template for single item views.

    Thanks!
