• Hello,

I’ve installed a new plugin that was supposed to appear automatically in the sidebar. It did not. In the WP Admin UI Customize sidebar sub-menu, it appears on the right. Any of the new plugin’s submenu items can be dragged to the sidebar, but the main plugin menu heading cannot.

When I de-activate WP Admin UI Customize, the new plugin appears correctly in the sidebar.

Why can’t I drag the entire new plugin to the sidebar menu?

    Thanks!

    Hi Gone South,

    Thank you for your feedback.

Why can’t I drag the entire new plugin to the sidebar menu?

I think your problem is maybe,

    • Javascript error(Other plugins or your using theme)
    • Web browser(Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari…etc)

Could you please try to belows?

    • Change web browser
    • Temporary deactive the other plugins
    • Change the default theme
    • Check the console log of Developer tools(Google Chrome, Firefox…etc)

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Sorry… let this one slide for a while.

I changed the web browser from Chrome to Safari, but the problem persists. Deactivated all other plugins, but still the problem persists. I can’t change the theme, but it’s a Genesis child theme, so should be rock solid. Not technical enough to check the console log.

    Any other ideas? Thanks.

    Eric
