Howdy! Love your plugins and am trying out the business directory one. Registered with Google Checkout and got a merchant/seller ID account and so on. I embedded the code you say to embed in the installation instructions in the Google Checkout page. The page is up, but when you go to the page, all that shows up is the Checkout page with the embed code in it (in the brackets). What’s up with that?

Also, I tried to set it up so that people don’t have to log in to my WordPress back-end and register in order to place an ad on my site. Assuming this works, do I still need to make the Manage Listings page viewable and public? Will the plugin work if I don’t require people to login and register?

    Thanks in advance!

    HI 4795209,

“The page is up, but when you go to the page, all that shows up is the Checkout page with the embed code in it (in the brackets). What’s up with that?”

This page isn’t something you visit directly, it’s used by BD during checkout, and data is passed to the page at that time, making it render correctly. Creating the page and adding the shortcode are all you need to do to make the payment system work the way it should.

You can have folks place ads on your site without registering. They won’t be able to manage them on their own at that point, that will be up to you since you can’t expose Manage Listings except via a registered user. So it’s a trade off–they can manage if they register, otherwise without registration, it’s all on you.
