[Resolved] [Plugin: Business Directory Plugin] Autogenerated pages

  • Thanks for the nice plugin. I installed it for testing.
The plugin created a page AWPCP and various sub-pages automatically including “cancel payment”, “edit listing” etc.
These pages are visible to people who are not even logged in. That looks bit weird when a person who has not even made a payment to see “cancel payment” link or “edit listing” link. Can you explain why is this so. Is there any setting to hide them or show them only to the relevant people.

    Hi nims,

I think you posted this in the wrong forum. This is the Business Directory plugin, not AWPCP. But I do run both, so I’ll answer your question.

The pages are created by AWPCP and are used for displaying the various functions of the plugin. These can’t be deleted or you’ll break the plugin’s output.

But, with that said, most themes offer a way to hide what gets displayed in their menus. If they don’t have a configuration option, you can update the templates to filter out the AWPCP pages anyhow. That’s the way you need to handle it.

More info on the documentation here:

Oh am sorry for this but the confusion occurred bcos AWPCP didnt work and I deleted is and installed business directory plugin and saw these pages so thought they were created by business directory plugin.

I will post in the right forum for further discussion.
