Are you using a Login Protection plugin? BPS would not lock you out of logging into WordPress. If you are locked out of your site then what password did you reset?

Maybe you put your website in Maintenance Mode? If that is the case then use FTP or your Web Host Control Panel File Manager and delete the .htaccess file in your website root folder. This will allow you to log back into your website if you were in Maintenance Mode.

    Hello!

I managed to get back in using my database and disabled the plugin and all seems ok now. I will try BPS again soon! Thanks for your suggestions 🙂

hmm that is interesting because disabling the BPS plugin should not do anything at all regarding whether you could access your site or not. The security is actually in the .htaccess files and not in the plugin files. And deleting the .htaccess files is the only thing that would have any effect. Anyway i will resolve this issue. Thanks.
