[resolved] Does BPS work with Domain Mapping (3 posts)

I see that BPS is compatible with Multisite. But does it also work with Domain Mapping.

If it relies on .htaccess files, this is an important question. The wp root htaccess is ignored when when a member site is accessed by its own domain. As far as I can tell not even placing htaccess files in the blogs.dir or blogs.dir/#/ directories had any effect at all when files are being accessed by a mapped domain name rather than a subdirectory or subdomain.

Typically for Network / MU sites you only need one .htaccess file in the Root folder because the subdomains / subdirectories are virtual. So the question is what exactly is Domain Mapping doing?

    Is this a particular plugin?
    How is it "mapping" domains?

Oh it looks like someone asked this 8 months ago and they stated that BPS works with Network / MU domain mapping.

And another confirmation that BPS works with MU Domain Mapping

And i missed an important part of the question in this thread below. What i suspect after re-reading the question is this person did not set up his / her subdomain correctly in their Web Host Control Panel and / or DNS correctly.
