  • You could simply disable the rewrite option for your wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore folder by putting a .htaccess files inside it with:

    RewriteEngine Off

    code inside

    Hope it helps! Ovidiu

Is there an easy way to create an .htaccess file. I haven’t done so. Thanks!

I will text this plugin to see what is going on. In the meantime it sounds like you could just add a skip rule to the BPS root htaccess file. Also if you do not have BulletProof Mode activated for your /wp-admin folder then this will cause problems. BulletProof Modes for the Root and wp-admin folders must both be used together. If you activate one Mode you must activate the other.

    # xcloner possible fix - pending verification
    # If you have WordPress installed in a subfolder you will need to add the
    # subfolder name to the RewriteCond /blog/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/ [NC]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/ [NC]
    RewriteRule . - [S=30]

    THANK YOU!!!

Added the above skip rule to the BPS root htaccess file and works like a charm!

Cool! Thanks for the confirmation. I’ll add the fix to the BPS plugin conflicts-fixes page and include it in the next version release. Thanks.
